Data Domain Names Michael O’Donnell as Federal Government Sales Director

Storage Industry Veteran Brings 20 Years of US Government Sales Experience

PALO ALTO, CALIF. — December 14, 2005 — Data Domain, the leading provider of capacity-optimized storage solutions, today announced that Michael O’Donnell has joined the company as government sales director. O’Donnell brings more than 20 years of experience in federal government sales for leading storage companies such as Network Appliance, and will oversee Data Domain’s government channel program.

O’Donnell is a veteran of storage companies including Network Appliance, Neoscale and Decru, and has been responsible for an annual sales pipeline of up to $45 million. In his new position as government sales director for Data Domain, he will report to Vice President of Sales David Schneider.
